Service is very slow. Seems the kitchen is at fault. The recent buff. Is not good. Not keep up and cold or to warm. Under new management they don't have their act together yet.
Great food (dinner and breakfast). New ownership seems to be updating the Inn, which is nice. Great views of the kanawha falls. I would recommend a stop if your just passing through or planning to stay a few nights.

Historic Inn close to a scenic river and waterfalls. It has a country setting with a place for dances, weddings and dining.Homemade cakes and pies are available too.
Stopped in for dinner. The menu has a good selection and there were about 15 in my group so a variety of the offerings were ordered. Steak, fish, pork chops, chicken were some of the offerings. Everyone enjoyed their meal and this will become a regular place for us to get together. The portions will not leave you wanting and the prices are very reasonable. The staff was friendly and the picturesque view make for a wonderful dinning experience.
